The company premises cover 6750 m², of which 3200 m² are covered with production halls, warehouses and office buildings. The history of today's engineering company began in 1924, when the current company premises, on which a mill had stood, were purchased and converted into an agricultural machinery workshop. In addition to the sale and repair of tractors and agricultural machinery, threshing machines, grist mills and slurry pumps were already being developed and manufactured at that time.
With great entrepreneurial spirit, the business was expanded and the sale of Hanomag tractors and mobile harvesting machines was stepped up. At the beginning of the sixties, we successfully started the production of hay loaders and loader wagons, which we produced until 1970. In 1963 we started selling Fiat tractors, the existing factory buildings became too small and in 1978 a machine and repair hall was built. As the Folger company has always been involved in design and testing, Martin Folger Sr. developed the first front system for FIAT tractors in 1982 and built another production hall in 1991, specifically for the manufacture of front systems for tractors. In 1995, Martin Folger Jr. took over his parents' business. Following the merger of the FORD and FIATAGRI companies, we sold NEW HOLLAND products from 1996 to 2007.
Through the continuous further development of front linkages and front PTO shafts, the company developed into a pure mechanical engineering company and manufacturer of front systems, which are sold throughout Europe. Another warehouse was built in 1997. The growth and expansion of the sales area necessitated the construction of a new office and warehouse building in 2001.
Today we produce front linkages and front PTO shafts for tractors of the brands New Holland, Case, Steyr, Kubota, Solis, Kioti, Same-Deutz, Yanmar, Captain, Iseki, TYM/Branson, Valtra and for older models of Fiatagri and Ford.
For Kubota, CASE IH and Steyr, we act as original equipment manufacturer for certain tractor series. In the meantime, several thousand front systems developed in-house have already left the Frauenornau production facility. Many parts for our front linkages and front PTO shafts are manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC + laser cutting machines. This gives us a high standard of quality that is complemented by our suppliers.
